Applying to dental schools in the UK is a competitive process requiring strong academic performance, typically high grades in Biology and Chemistry at A-level, alongside a solid UCAT score, which is used by many universities for shortlisting for interview. The application is submitted through UCAS, with a limit of four dentistry choices, making strategic selection essential.Applying to dental school is actually a more difficult process than medical school applications, due to fewer dental schools in the UK but with the right guidance, it is achievable.
Dental admissions are very similar to Medical applications, and so Dr Ahmed is heavily involved in the unique Dental set-up at Dr Admissions. The programme starts in Year 12 and includes:
