For the 2024 entry cycle, Oxford’s Medicine course had around 1,000 applications for about 157 places, resulting in an offer rate of about 16%.

Dr Admissions Oxbridge Pathway
- Start with the 8-Week Flagship UCAT Course, based on the unique EdUCATe™ method, securing an essential high UCAT score with our Oxbridge Tutors, who can give you detailed insight.
- Oxbridge Personal Statement – Oxbridge personal statements are unique and require more academic integrity than a usual medical personal statement. At Dr Admissions our tutors will help provide targeted support to submit a personal statement that is academically credible, reflective, and strategically positioned.
- Interviews – Dr Admissions provides structured, high-intensity preparation for Oxbridge Medicine interviews, based on Dr Ahmed’s InterVIEW™ framework which provides the specific academic and cognitive preparation required. Attend Dr Ahmed’s 10-week Interview Coaching Course then follow this up with a one-hour University-Specific 121 Mock Interview. Students will rotate between Dr Ahmed who will assess ethical reasoning, medical issues and professional judgement, and an Oxford or Cambridge medical student evaluating academic and scientific understanding. This dual-interviewer format ensures focused assessment, maximising interview readiness and success.
Students applying to Oxford will be interviewed by two colleges, with the interviews taking place around 15th/16th December. For Cambridge, invitations are sent in November, with candidates being interviewed between 7 December and 18 December.
